Delivery Driver & Sales (San Luis Obispo)

Delivery Driver & Sales - customer service - job employment: Local company based in SLO searching for a dependable delivery person for local and statewide deliveries using company owned 4WD pickup truck and utility trailers. Also provide office sales and customer service support to phone, walk-in and internet customers when not driving. Key Responsibilities: • Deliveries to commercial and residential locations from store location and/or manufacturing facilities in California. • Oversee routine vehicle maintenance. • Offloading & loading of product by hand or with forklift. • Retail yard organization • Install basic plumbing connections on some products using power tools. • Generate written correspondence to customers and suppliers. • Give verbal and written quotes. • Write invoices and sales orders according to company guidelines. Qualifications: • Clean DMV record with valid Class C license. • Experience pulling trailers with pickup truck. • Forklift operating experience • Basic hand tool experience. • Previous experience in sales or customer service capacity. • Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office, email and internet.
