Pet Resort Host - Part or Full Time - customer service - job...: ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for care, health, and welfare of pets that are boarding at THPR - Proper and safe socialization techniques of dogs in yards (with Lead and Trainer supervision) - Feeding and watering of animals based off of customer requests and dietary needs - Safe handling and oversight of pets to ensure the safety of all animals and deter inappropriate behavior - Bathing/washing/drying of dogs utilizing grooming area and equipment (training required). - Participation in thorough and proper initial/daily watch checks of the dogs - Properly responding to medical concerns/emergencies of pets and reporting all incidents to Leads and Management Responsible for care and maintenance of boarding, daycare, and office facilities and ensuring that they are of the highest standard for presentation to our customers and safety of their pets. - Turnover and sanitization of boarding facilities and equipment including daily removal of animal waste and trash from facilities - Laundering of bedding and towels for both owners and THPR - Grounds maintenance to maintain Resort appearance for customers QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - Experience handling animals preferred (especially dogs) - Able to lift 50 lbs - Familiar with general office documentation applications including Microsoft programs and Google Drive, Evernote, task management programs, Acrobat and online database management systems - Strong organizational and task prioritization skills. - General understanding of sanitization and maintenance - High School Diploma or Equivalent - Self-motivated and able to work without supervision *Weekend and Summer availability required* Please apply directly on our website: https://www.thousandhillspetresort.com/employment
